This is a video to help some one who wants to safely remove their door panel.

How to take door panel off 07 chevy 250. Remove the push in fastener 3 at the front edge of the door trim. Remove the trim panel screws. I was unable to find any for my year car. Disconnect any optional lights and switches in the door.

Remove the cap 5 covering the screw on the rear edge of the trim panel. Using a suitable flat bladed tool gently pry the manual lock lever from the door trim panel. So here is a quick slideshow i made for anyone who might be doing the same thing. Pry it off with the small angled trim tool from the top and rear side.

Pull the door upward and outward to disconnect it from its clips on the door and unplug any wiring harnesses behind it. When you remove the phillips screw from interior handle plastic bezel you have to then pull off that bezel and remove one more phillips behind it. Once the two retaining caps are released pivot the top of the sail out and extract it from the bottom anchor on the door frame. Remove the side view mirror sail located in the upper corner of the door panel.
