Hydro Excavation Waste Disposal
We can manage and execute every phase of the hydro excavation process as well as transportation and disposal eliminating the need to engage multiple vendors.
Hydro excavation waste disposal. Clean harbors provides a wide range of industrial municipal and pipeline hydro evacuation hydrovac services. Much of the mud is mixed with bentonite a soft clay which is key to the excavation process because it expands to prevent the collapse of an area during drilling. This equipment combines with a vacuum system and a debris tank to fully remove displaced soil when necessary. Hydro excavation which is also referred to as hydrovac excavation and daylighting is a safe method of surgical excavation that uses both high pressure water to break up soil and a powerful vacuum to perform the excavation.
The by products of hydro excavation are chemicals and slurry which are difficult to dispose of or reuse responsibly. Hydro excavation is a similar process but using pressurized water instead of air. Similarly a hydro vacuum service is used to suck up all the hydro excavation waste as you go transferring the soil and dirt into a tank for disposal later. Manual or mechanical digging methods are labor intensive and potentially damaging to underground utilities.
This is a safer and more environmentally friendly method than alternative options.
